Jammu and kashmir: अधिकारियों ने बताया कि मंगलवार दोपहर त्रिकुटा पहाड़ी पर माता वैष्णो देवी मंदिर जाने वाले रास्ते पर भूस्खलन हुआ, जिससे कम से कम पाँच लोग मर गए और चौबीस घायल हो गए। बहुत से लोग फंसे होने की आशंका है। जम्मू-कश्मीर के रियासी ज़िले में स्थित इस प्रसिद्ध मंदिर की यात्रा दोपहर लगभग 3 बजे रोक दी गई जब पहाड़ी दरक गई और लोग अचानक गिर पड़े।
अधिकारियों ने बताया कि इंद्रप्रस्थ भोजनालय अधक्वारी में बचाव अभियान चल रहा है। कटरा से पहाड़ी पर स्थित मंदिर तक बारह किलोमीटर की सड़क के लगभग बीच में एक स्थान पर भूस्खलन हुआ।
इससे पहले, जम्मू में भारी बारिश से तीन लोग मारे गए और दो दर्जन से अधिक घर और पुल क्षतिग्रस्त हुए। जम्मू में कई निचले इलाके और सड़कें जलमग्न हो गई हैं, क्योंकि लगभग सभी जलाशय खतरे के निशान से ऊपर बह रहे हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला ने कहा कि जम्मू प्रांत के कई हिस्सों में स्थिति “काफी गंभीर” है और वह व्यक्तिगत रूप से स्थिति को देखने के लिए श्रीनगर से अगली उपलब्ध उड़ान से जम्मू जाएँगे।
अधिकारियों ने बताया कि जम्मू-श्रीनगर और किश्तवाड़-डोडा राष्ट्रीय राजमार्गों पर यातायात बंद है, जबकि कई पहाड़ी सड़कें भूस्खलन या अचानक आई बाढ़ के कारण खराब हो गई हैं। उन्हें यह भी बताया कि बारिश के कारण माता वैष्णो देवी मंदिर की यात्रा भी रोक दी गई है।

The Indian Army जम्मू क्षेत्र में बचाव अभियान: भारतीय सेना ने बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में व्यापक मानवीय सहायता और आपदा राहत (HADR) अभियान शुरू किया है, जिसमें कई बचाव टुकड़ियाँ और हेलीकॉप्टर तैनात किए गए हैं, जो फंसे हुए नागरिकों, विद्यार्थियों और सुरक्षाकर्मियों को निकालने के लिए तैनात किए गए हैं।
Jammu Sector Operations As on Tuesday evening, four rescue columns were deployed at different locations in Jammu:
Garhi Garh, RS Pura Sector: Seven civilians, including one child, were rescued. Operation completed.
Shergarh, RS Pura Sector: Around 10–12 civilians trapped inside a building are being rescued.
Sher-e-Kashmir University, Jammu: Rescue efforts are underway to evacuate students stranded inside a university building.
Swahanjana: Rescue column is working to evacuate students trapped at a Government School.
Mamun Sector Operations:
In the Mamun sector, coordinated ground and helicopter rescue missions are ongoing:
Makaura Village: Nearly 70 civilians stranded by floods have been shifted to safety using boats.
Kachle Village: Seven civilians were airlifted to Taragarh Government Senior Secondary School.
Shahpur Kandi: Two individuals rescued by helicopter.
Nikka BOP: Eleven BSF personnel safely evacuated.
Evacuation underway for about 50 civilians and nine Army personnel trapped at the post.
Zainpir Kukkar: Helicopter rescue operations in progress.
Amli Village: Nine civilians rescued with helicopter assistance due to landslides and inaccessibility.
Nad Village: Rising water levels hampered ground rescue; civilians were successfully evacuated with the help of police boats.
